Hotel Acropolis was built at 1910 by the famous architecture Pierre Devabez specifically for the family needs of the President of the island. Maria Asimeniou inherited the house and in 1971 she renovated it (first time) and from presidential house it become hotel Acropolis. Since then its working as hotel Acropolis and it had one more big renovation during 2014. It’s hard to list all the indoor and outdoor features of this stunning home since the design and structure remained as a traditional mansion. The building is approximately 500 scare meters and according to the law there are additional 200 square metres that could expand the premises e.g. additional rooms in the last floor or behind in the garden. The hotel backyard a 200 square meters paradise garden with beautiful flowers and trees can work also as a bar restaurant or only as breakfast area. Although, the last few years did not operated as bar restaurant and was only working as breakfast area, the experience from previous seasons only the bar restaurant had a gross income was approx. 65.000 euros per season. Hotel Acropolis due to its legacy, unique style and beauty traditionally have the honour to accommodate every year important individuals , famous actors , musicians, poets etc. For the years where the ancient theatre was organizing theatrical performances, Acropolis had a contract with the National Theatre of Northern Greece and accommodated all the famous actors which have left also their legacy into Acropolis Guest book with their signature, comments and thankful notes as well from the photo album with famous individuals enjoying at the Acropolis premises. Regarding our clients, the first category is the loyal - permanent guests with whom we have developed a trusting long lasting relationship and they are keep coming back every summer, with some for over 20 years now. The majority from this group are Greek artists, actors with their families and children, older couples and loners of average socioeconomic status, but we also have such customers from all over Europe. The previous decade that we were working with tour operators organized groups the majority of our clients where from Scandinavians Switzerland, Norway, Sweden as well as from Germany and England. However, the last period that we are working tourists without group for such standards of hospitality medium hotels up to 3 stars the majority are form the Balkan area Serbian, Bulgarian, Romania and Turkey. The hotel deserves to upgrade its quality one step further and become a really diamond of the city of Limenas, a Boutique Hotel. The hotel has three levels, the first 120 square meters has kitchen area, rooms for the personal breakfast area for the winter and two warehouses. This level has access to the backyard. Second level 178 square meters the main entrance has the reception, central lounge and six rooms, three from each side. Third level 180 square meters smaller lounge and seven rooms. Above this level there is a wooden loft of 160 square meters that is ready to provide additional luxury suites since the view from up there is amazing due to its strategic position from the roof windows at the east side there is a breath-taking view of the magnificent Aegean blue waters and the romantic old Harbour that is a point of reference in the city of Limenas, while from the west side the unique view of the beautiful mountain. An important asset beyond the site where the hotel is built there is another site - land that we inherited nearby (100 meters away from Acropolis) of approximately 900 square meters with relevant building factor 0.8 that is it legal to build property of approx. 720 square meters. It has a prestigious location since it is behind the street surrounded by trees and other lands that creates a unique atmosphere of quietness and privacy while in the center of the city and fantastic view of the mountain. This place now is used as an additional parking for the hotel, but it could be used to develop a series of suites or wo-story retreats with a sparkling pool and private spa the center as an extension of the Boutique Acropolis. The price is 1.150.000 including all the furniture’s, unique beauty antiques and room items beds mirrors chairs and carefully selected decorative (paintings,etc) . We offer a special price for the second land (900 square meters) mentioned with additional 100.000 euros.
